Music beyond the classroom

Fundays

Fundays bring children together to make music, meet new friends and enjoy playing in a relaxed, supportive setting, finishing with a short concert for families.

What is a Funday?

A Funday is a relaxed music day where children come together to play in bands, take part in games and perform at a short concert for family and friends.

Children of different abilities play together, supported by experienced tutors. It’s about enjoyment, confidence and sharing music, not pressure or perfection.

What to Expect

1. Arrive and settle in

Children meet the tutors, warm up and get comfortable with their group.

2. Play and practise together

Group music-making, fun activities and plenty of encouragement.

3. Lunch and games

A relaxed break to socialise and recharge.

4. Concert for families

A short, informal performance to celebrate what the children have learned.
